Classic Half Set

A classic half set uses the same one-extension-per-natural-lash technique as a full set, applied at roughly half the density — 35 to 40 extensions per eye rather than 80 to 120. Your artist concentrates them where they read most: along the outer two thirds of the lash line, where added length opens the eye, and through any sparse patches that break up the line.

The appointment takes about 45 minutes. You lie with your eyes closed while your artist isolates each natural lash and bonds a single extension to it with the same medical-grade adhesive used for a full set. Because fewer lashes are carrying weight, a half set is a gentle option if your natural lashes are fine or you are coming back from a period of shedding.

Half sets suit clients who want to look rested rather than made up — enough definition to skip mascara, not enough to read as obviously enhanced. It is also the least expensive way to find out whether extensions fit your routine before committing to a full set.

Retention works the same way as any extension service: results last two to four weeks depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare, and a refill keeps the shape going. If you decide you want more density later, your artist can build up to a full set at your next visit.
