The lash lift and tint combines two of our most popular lash services into one appointment. First, your natural lashes are lifted from the root using a silicone shield and a gentle perming solution, giving them an upward curl that opens the eye. Then, a semi-permanent dye is applied to darken the lashes from root to tip, adding depth and definition that mimics the look of mascara without any product.
The combination is especially effective for clients with light-colored or blonde lashes that become invisible without mascara. The lift reveals length you did not know you had, and the tint ensures every lash shows up — even the fine, pale ones at the inner and outer corners. Together, the two treatments give your eyes a wide-awake, finished appearance that lasts six to eight weeks for the curl and three to five weeks for the color.
At Urban Brows, the combined appointment takes about an hour. Your artist will start by discussing curl intensity and tint shade during a short consultation, then move through the lift process before applying the tint while your lashes are still shaped against the shield. Is the lash tint safe for my eyes?
Yes. The dye we use is specifically formulated for the eye area and is applied with your eyes closed throughout the process. Your artist places protective pads beneath the lashes to prevent any contact with the skin.
How long does the tint last compared to the lift?
The lift lasts six to eight weeks — essentially one full lash growth cycle. The tint fades a bit sooner, typically three to five weeks, as the dye naturally wears off the hair. Many clients rebook the combined service once the tint starts to fade.
Can I swim or shower after a lash lift and tint?
We recommend keeping your lashes dry for the first 24 hours after the treatment to let the curl and color fully set. After that, you can swim, shower, and exercise with no restrictions.
Is it worth adding the tint to a lash lift?
If your lashes are medium to dark, you may be happy with just the lift. But if your lashes are fair, blonde, or grey, the tint makes a dramatic difference — it is essentially the step that replaces mascara entirely.
