Ombré Lashes

Ombré lashes are colored extensions worked into a set so the color sits where it shows and disappears where it should. Rather than a band of color across the whole lash line, your artist blends tone through the mid-lengths and tips — dark at the base where the lashes meet your lid, lifting to a softer shade toward the ends.

It is booked as an add-on to a lash set rather than on its own, and adds about 20 minutes to the appointment. The color is chosen against your eye color rather than your hair: warmer tones to bring out green and hazel, cooler ones to sharpen blue, deeper shades that read as depth rather than obvious color on brown eyes.

Because the color is concentrated away from the base, the effect is subtle in daylight and much stronger in photographs and direct light. Most clients read it as their eyes looking brighter rather than their lashes looking colored, which is usually the point of asking for it.

Ombré works on classic, hybrid, and volume sets, and it comes out with them. The color is part of the extension rather than a dye on your natural lash, so there is nothing extra to maintain between appointments and nothing left behind once the set has shed.
