Upper Lips

Upper lip threading removes hair from the top lip with a twisted cotton thread, catching hairs at the follicle in a row rather than one at a time. It is quick — about ten minutes — and precise enough to follow the natural line of your lip without taking the corners too high.

Threading is the gentlest of the common options for this area. Nothing is applied to the skin, so there is no wax pulling at a spot where the skin is thin and sensitive, and nothing chemical sitting on the surface. Skin is usually pink for a few minutes afterward and settles quickly.

Regrowth comes back soft rather than blunt, because the hair is removed whole instead of being cut at the surface. Most clients rebook every two to four weeks, though that moves with your own hair growth.
